Rated to cut brick. The turbo diamond core drill bits in these kits are designed for use without water. They are 160mm long with the same 1/2" BSP fittings as the CCSB range. The advantage is they are light weight, shorter and available in key diameters popular with Plumbers, Electricians and A/C installers. Do not operate on hammer action! High quality turbo diamond segments. Supplied in sturdy aluminium case.

Tips to prevent damage to the diamond segments – do not operate on hammer action, do not force the speed of the cut, some bricks are harder and denser making it harder to core through them. Forcing the speed of cut will overheat the diamond segments which will further slow the cutting speed and void any warranty.

Diamond segments can be ‘torn off’ when encountering obstructions such as wall ties. When snatching is felt – stop drilling, inspect the cavity and remove loose wall ties with pliers.
