PRESTIGE SURFACE SEALER is a unique blend of acrylic resins formulated especially for application to all masonry surfaces. PRESTIGE SURFACE SEALER highlights the natural colours and texture of the surface and provides protection against wear and staining.
Allow a minimum of 14 days from date of laying/grouting before application to ensure all moisture has left grout and substrate. Ensure all efflorescence (whitish salts on the surface) has ceased to appear (remove residual salts with ANTI EFF, as per label instructions). The surface to be treated should be cleaned free from dust and thoroughly dry.
Apply using a nylon broom, Viton sprayer or lambswool applicator ensuring no bubbles are trapped in the sealer. Allow to dry overnight.
At least 2 coats of sealer are recommended for normal domestic use, allow 1-4 hrs between coats (depending on ambient conditions) and 24 hrs before heavy traffic. Resealing should not be required before 24-36 months, potentially longer depending on traffic, weathering and cleaning.
8-12 sq m per litre per coat, depending on porosity. Clean up any spills or soiling material within 2-4 hours.
Depending on the extent of traffic, your floor may require resealing with PRESTIGE SURFACE SEALER to remove scratching and scuff marks. This will bring your floor back to its original condition. Resealing should not be required before 1 - 3 years, potentially longer depending on traffic weathering and cleaning.
This product is highly flammable. Ensure adequate ventilation and no naked flames or smoking. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid breathing vapour or spray mist.
